KMP created first2zero.com, a realistic online darts game that allows multiple players to compete against each other in a real-time chat environment.
KMP created the online game to test the real-time messaging capability of an immersive Flash 5 user interface and a multi-user XML server that was developed in-house. The game was then licensed by MiniClip.com.

A ‘wobble’ effect on the darts was used as the game-play had to be made as realistic as possible and power level bars simulated the player’s speed of throw and the gravitational effect on the dart in flight. In two-player mode, players can see their opponent’s darts in action and use the chat facility.

The community building potential of the site and its technology is rapidly being recognised by many other gaming and gambling portals who have expressed their interest in linking to or licensing the site in order to attract and retain their users.

KMP have since created numerous variations of this game for first2game including a first2victory (battleships) and a first2four game, which is based on the idea of connect 4. KMP has also created a number of games for Stanley Leisure, including both play-for-fun games where no money changes hands, and play-for-real games where real money bets are placed. Interactive 'how to play' Flash demonstrations for the most popular games were also created in order to increase the reach of the games.
